Those using Online Pre-Registration will not have to stand in long queues.
- At the time of Online Pre Registration, you will be issued an Online Pre-Registration Number which is to be shown at the respective Online Registration Counter between 08.00 AM to 10.00 AM (Monday to Friday) and between 08.00 AM to 10.00 AM (Saturday and Gazetted Holidays) on the chosen day.
- At the Registration counter, an OPD Card with a Unique and Permanent CRNO will be given to you. This Permanent CRNO will be used for all your subsequent visits to all departments of PGIMER.
- You can avail of this facility up to 30 days in advance from the date of the visit and up to 6.00 am on the day of the visit.
- This Online Pre-Registration Number is valid only for the ‘Date of the Visit’. In case you do not come on the chosen date your details will be deleted and you will need to re-register.

- If you are not a paying patient, please bring relevant proof to show at the counter.
- It is important that you register your correct and valid mobile number at the time of registration. This will be used to send you information and passwords for seeing your test results etc.
- You are also encouraged to enter your email ID.

Online Pre-Registration Process (New Patient)
If a person wants to take PGI Chandigarh online appointment to get his treatment in this hospital for the first time, then follow the method given below.
- First, the patient has to visit the official website of PGI. After visiting the official website, the home will open in front of you.
- On this Home Page, you will see the option for New/Old Online Pre-Registration.
- Click On New/Old Online Pre-Registration.

Fill in All the Given information carefully and click on submit button. After clicking on the submit button you will get an appointment registration number. This page has to be printed.
- After registration, the people who will be registered online, have to go to PGI Chandigarh Hospital or PGI Chandigarh Hospital. A separate counter has been kept for those who register online and you will have to go to that counter.
- This counter is open from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Patients registering online will not have to stand at the counter for much longer.
- At the counter, you will be required to show the registration number and provide other details (if asked). You will have to pay a fee of Rs 10 and the operator will give you a “Patient Job Card”. You have to keep this patient’s job card carefully because all the treatment information will be written on it.
